چکیده

Magnetite supported on multiwalled carbon nanotubes catalysts were synthesized by co-precipitation and hydrothermal treatment. The magnetic characterized X-ray diffraction, Fourier-transform infrared spectrometry, thermogravimetric analysis N2 physisorption. then tested for their ability to remove diclofenac (DCF) naproxen (NAP) from an aqueous solution at different conditions (pH, temperature, hydrogen peroxide) determine the optimum chemical oxidation. optimization of process parameters was conducted using response surface methodology (RSM) coupled with Box–Behnken design (BBD). By RSM–BBD methodology, optimal (1.75 mM H2O2 dosage, 70 °C pH 6.5) determined, removal percentages NAP DCF 19 54%, respectively. NAP–DCF degradation catalytic wet peroxide oxidation (CWPO) caused •OH radicals. In CWPO mixed drug solutions, showed competitive Hydrophobic interactions played important role during process. On other hand, catalyst reduced its activity after second cycle reuse. addition, proof concept disinfection tests performed operating results following complexity water matrices. this sense, in has adequate potential treat contaminated mixtures.

Catalytic wet air oxidation of aqueous solution of phenol over Pt/CNF catalyst

The catalytic wet air oxidation (CWAO) of phenol has been studied in trickled bed reactor using 2 wt.% platinum supported on carbon nanofibers (Pt/CNF) as catalyst. The catalyst was prepared by incipient wetness impregnation, and characterized by N2 adsorption, XRD and TEM. The operational variables studied and their range were: total air pressure, temperature, catalyst load, air and liquid flo...

Activated carbons treated with sulphuric acid: Catalysts for catalytic wet peroxide oxidation

Different liquid phase thermal treatmentswere applied to a commercial activated carbon (Norit ROX 0.8) in order to produce modified activated carbons with varying surface chemistry and increased acidic character. Chemical characterization of the prepared materials includes determination of the point of zero charge and evaluation of the concentration and nature of acidic and basic surface functi...

Catalytic Wet Oxidation of Ammonia Solution with Platinum- Palladium-rhodium Composite Oxide Catalyst

This study adopted high concentration aqueous solutions of ammonia for use in catalytic liquid-phase oxidation in a trickle-bed reactor with platinum-group metals (platinum-palladiumrhodium), prepared by the co-precipitation of H2PtCl6, Pd(NO3)3 and Rh(NO3)3. The experimental results revealed that a minimal amount of ammonia was removed from the solution by wet oxidation in the absence of any c...

Green oxidation with aqueous hydrogen peroxide.

Aqueous H2O2 is an ideal oxidant, when coupled with a tungstate complex and a quaternary ammonium hydrogensulfate as an acidic phase-transfer catalyst. It oxidizes alcohols, olefins, and sulfides under organic solvent- and halide-free conditions in an economically, technically, and environmentally satisfying manner.
